The mission of the Clinic is to provide primary medical care and prescription assistance to residents of Orange County who do not have the resources to obtain basic health care. Medical clinics are held on a walk-in basis on Tuesdays from 5-7pm. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Services provided: - Primary Health Care - Some X-rays and Laboratory tests - Generic medications and insulin through Orange Pharmacy or Wilderness Pharmacy with a $1.00 charge for each prescription filled. - Brand name medications can be ordered through the Medication Assistance Program, which has a separate enrollment on-site. Medications can be shipped to the patient's home or to the Free Clinic. Eligibility: Patients must be a resident of Orange County as shown by: Driver's license, utility bill, or legal document. P.O. Box addresses will not be accepted. To receive medical care, patients cannot have health insurance of any kind, including Medicare and Medicaid. Total family income may not exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Documents must be presented showing income. These can include paycheck stubs for the last four weeks of employment, W-2, letter of determination from Social Security or Social Services stating all benefits, pension verification or unemployment verification Patients are required to reverify eligibility requirements every 6 months.
