Mission Statement: We started Under The Baobab Tree to bring attention to unfair trade and exploitation practices in Africa.
We want to form a global community with a shared mission:
To empower crafts people that are underpaid for their high quality goods and products, which in turn gives artists and crafts people around the Africa a choice in who they want to work with.
We are people who believe deeply in our mission, we might not earn as much as exploiters but we believe with all our heart that people matter over profit.
